So, this was the one that was supposed to drop last time. Sorry, y'all.
Also, sorry about this story's title (though a little less sorry).

Rish Outcast 8: TF PSA and Ramblings
A month or so back, I turned on my recorder, meaning to talk about something else, but ended up talking about losing my story "A Lovely Singing Voice." I gave myself a deadline in that recording how long I would leave it a "lost work," and figured I ought to post it, even though I usually include stories in this thing (I refer to a story that I meant to have published by now, but will have to show up next).
Hopefully salvaging some of this episode, I'm also including a Public Service Announcement I created, thinking we'd use it on the Dunesteef. It may be entertaining, may be perplexing, or may be just more flapping of my jaw. Either way, here is Rish Outcast number 8 (seems too complicated to call this one number 9 and call the next one 8 when I get it edited).
One day, I may have time to do these on a more regular basis.

The Podcast That Dares Not Speak Its Name 8: A Day of Fishing
We're gonna go way back on this one, to a story I wrote when I was a teenager. It's called "A Day of Fishing," and maybe it's awful, maybe it's good, but it's yours now, no refunds.
I wish I were a bit more diligent in putting these solo podcasts out. But they invariably get recorded, then sit for months (in this case, several) before they rise to the top of the priority list. I apologize, but I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Rish Outcast 6: A Little More Conversation
There's no story in this one. Actually, there used to be, but since I didn't get to it until the twenty-two minute mark, I figured I ought to split it in two. If you don't want to know my thoughts on writing and podcasting, you can skip this one.

Rish Outcast 5: All Night Gas
Rish brings his short story "All Night Gas" to somewhat-life in this episode. Afterward, he ruminates on superheroes and saviors, the need for them, the need to be rescued. Sigh.

The Podcast That Dares Not Speak Its Name 7: Last Minute Shopper
Well, I've had to skip an episode (or four) to get my Christmas show in under the wire. This was supposed to be the final episode of my solo podcast before I made the switch to the easier* Rish Outcasts.
This one includes a Christmas story (or anti-Christmas story, if you prefer) I wrote called "Last Minute Shopper." It's fairly short and tells the tale of a reluctant venture into a mall right before the holiday. Afterward, Sir Fake Sean and I do our worst duet ever, and there's a bit of monologuing by me.
Hopefully, you'll miss these when they're gone.

*Or perhaps I should say "easier," since it's a difference of maybe ten minutes' work either way.

Rish Outcast 3: Beyond the Fence
Rish is back with his brand new edition. Will he ever stop? Yo, I don't know.
In this, Rish presents "Beyond the Fence," probably the shortest story he'll ever do on the show, then talks about its (and his own) shortcomings. It first appeared here on his blog (in the week where he tried to write a story a day). He also describes a new story idea he had completely forgotten about by the time he typed up this summary.
